Black Dragon Pearls are a rare, hand-rolled variety of black tea, hailing from the Yunnan province, these black teas version of the popular Dragon Pearls are comprised of only the highest quality leaves and buds, expertly rolled into a large pearl-like shape. Black Dragon Pearls are naturally sweet and smooth, with a touch of earthiness. This tea delivers a subtle cocoa notes with a rich and smooth finish.

Our Black Dragon Pearls comes from Yunnan, China's most biodiverse and (in our opinion) stunningly beautiful province. It is largely mountainous, with many rivers, lakes and huge forests of large, old-growth trees (including towering tea plants). Early Western explorers were captivated by its orchids and other fauna, and tales of this enchanted land formed the legend of Shangri-La as they reached Europe and America.
