The tea leaves used in Autumn Water Romantic Human are mao Feng green leaves, grown on the idyllic tea plantations of Fuding. Located in the Fujian province, which is famous among tea lovers across the globe, the tea leaves are grown in 1840 hours of sunshine every year and average temperatures of 18.5 degrees celsius. These growing conditions help to create this special type of green WellTea, which is rich in taste and health benefits.
After it’s harvested, the mao Feng green tea leaves are wrapped around lily and jasmine flowers and then sewn by hand by skilled tea artisans. This creates the small bud-like packages that are added to boiled water and unfurl on their own to create a beautiful underwater bouquet for you to enjoy while waiting for this highly fragrant and refreshing WellTea to brew.

THE WATER TEMPERATURE
The golden rule about water temperature is never to use boiling water on the tea, whatever kind of tea you are making.
Green Teas require water at 70°C and black teas require water at 85-90°C.
