I. Tea exports
According to customs statistics, from January to July 2023, Chinese tea exports of 206,500 tons, the amount is $ 1.005 billion, the average price is $ 4.87 / kg, decreased 3.94%, 14.87% and 11.29%, respectively.

The export of green tea (172,300 tons), black tea (16,700 tons), Pu-erh tea (981 tons) and dark tea (156 tons) showed a downward trend, with the biggest drop of 34.29% for dark tea; oolong tea (12,400 tons) showed the biggest increase of 8.35% in export.

II. Tea imports
According to customs statistics, from January to July 2023, China imported 21,500 tons of tea, amounting to 79.95 million U.S. dollars, down 14.31% and 4.89% year-on-year, respectively, the average price of 3.72 U.S. dollars per kilogram, up 11.04% year-on-year.
